The European Union has brought and will bring public policies in the field of sustainable development and transition to circularity, but practice has shown that there are certain challenges when it comes to monitoring the effectiveness of the implementation of defined measures. For now, there is no consensus regarding the methodology that should be used for this purpose. The lack of a single measurement method leads to the application of different approaches and different results, with far-reaching consequences.
The event was attended by 50 participants from different European countries.
Prof. Dr. Mirjana Radovanović attended the event, primarily because the main goal of the project that was presented at the webinar is the development of recommendations for public policy makers, as in the case of the EDUCIRC2022 project. Measurement methodologies are important for measuring the progress and changes that have occurred regarding the progress of the green transition of the Republic of Serbia. Without reliable measurement methods, it is not possible to measure change, and therefore there will be a lack of basis for quality management of the entire process. In addition, getting to know similar projects, institutions and individuals who implement them is of particular importance for the project team.
