The project does not include trips outside of Serbia, but Educons University successfully cooperates with its partner universities from Poland, both in the implementation of projects and in participation in international gatherings. As part of the presentation of Educons University at the European Open Science Forum, project participant Assoc.Prof. Jelena Ješić presented the EDUCIRC2022 project to interested forum participants in the poster session: Sustainable Environment.
This year’s scientific forum gathered 3,500 participants, through 6 plenary sessions, hundreds of presentations through thematic sessions, poster sessions, talent fair, networking day and numerous workshops. The entire program of the forum was divided into several parts: digital transformation, sustainable environment, energy transition, cultural identities and social transformations, improving the health of society and changes concerning the understanding of excellence in science.
At such an event, it was a real opportunity to present the Science Fund as an institution that supports and encourages excellence in science. Through a section of the results of the first year of work on the EDUCIRC2022 project, we presented an insight into the level of familiarity with the concept of the circular economy of women and young people in rural areas of Serbia.
Colleagues from the Polish National Institute for Information Processing showed great interest in the project topic and the overall work of the Educons University team.
