The “AI_4_LIFE: Biotech Future Forum” conference (https://biotechfutureforum.gov.rs/) brought together leading experts in biotechnology and artificial intelligence to discuss modern challenges and opportunities for applying AI solutions in healthcare, agriculture, and environmental protection, with circular economy as an essential component. The Forum’s opening emphasized its primary goal of connecting researchers, entrepreneurs, and regulatory bodies, as well as promoting innovations to support sustainable development and enhance quality of life.
Project team member, Asst. Prof. Igor Vukelić, attended lectures closely aligned with the objectives of the EDUCIRC2022 project, with special attention given to the following sessions:
- Sowing the Seeds of Sustainability – Discussion centered on the importance of sustainable practices across sectors and the role of education in raising awareness about sustainable development within the framework of the circular economy.
- Bioeconomy Workshop – The workshop covered opportunities for implementing bioeconomy within sustainable economic models.
- Innovations and Implementation of AI Strategies – Presentations showcased the latest innovations in AI technology.
- Plenary Sessions for Young Leaders – Skills for the Future – Focused on skills essential for future leaders.
These topics were of particular significance to the EDUCIRC2022 project, as they encompass innovative strategies and solutions in circular economy, based on the application of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and sustainable approaches.
