On 06.11.2024, as part of the Fifth Workshop entitled “Transition to a Circular Economy Model and Examples of Good Practice in the Pčinjski District” the promotion of the EDUCIRC2022 project in Vranje was carried out. The promotion in the congress hall of the Hotel Vojvoda Putnik in Vranje was attended by young locals, pupils of the Agricultural and Veterinary School  “Stevan Sinđelić” from Vranje, as well as representatives of local self-government and farmers from the Pčinjski District. During the promotion, participants were introduced to the main reasons for the implementation of this project, its goals and outcomes, as well as the importance and potential that the introduction of the concept of circular economy has on life in rural areas. During the Workshop, the participants were presented with the brochure “Introduction of Circular Economy Model in Rural Environments of the Republic of Serbia: Recommendations for Local Self-Governments”. The attendees showed great interest in this brochure. As part of the workshops in less developed regions of Serbia, this workshop was held in Vranje, the administrative, cultural and economic center of the Pčinjski administrative district.
