On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Art Hotel Belgrade, the meeting “ZERO Food Waste Expo” was held in the organization of the Institute of General and Physical Chemistry Belgrade, and in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Zagreb, the Technical University of Tallinn, the University of Salerno and the University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, within the Erasmus+ project “Zero food waste education of “Z” generation of European citizens”.
Within the program of the meeting, which included the presentation of the results of the ZeeWaste4EU project, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, non-governmental organizations and organizations of citizens that are interested in or engaged in the distribution and processing of surplus food, Assoc.Prof. Jelena Ješić and Asst.Prof. Simonida Vukadinović presented the programs of Educons University in a short address, with an emphasis on the EDUCIRC2022 project. We received the invitation to attend the meeting from the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Sector for Circular Economy.
