On September 24, 2024. as part of the event organized by the project team of the EDUCIRC2022 project, the workshop entitled “Attitudes of young people from less developed areas on sustainable development and the transition to a circular economy model” and the round table “Transition to a circular economy model: the role of local governments”, the promotion of the project EDUCIRC2022 was carried out in Educational Center – Tourist Organizations Boljevac, Ilino village, Boljevac municipality. The event was attended by young people, as well as representatives of local self-government, companies from the region, as well as the President of the Municipality of Boljevac Slađan Đimiš, B.Sc. agricultural engineer. During the promotion, the participants were introduced to the basic reasons for the implementation of this project, its goals and outcomes, as well as the importance and potential that the introduction of the circular economy concept has on life in rural areas. On this occasion, the Monograph: ” Policy of Economic Development (with chapters on green transition and the circular economy model)” was presented, as well as the Educational – informative brochure: ,, Circular Economy as a Trigger for Empowering youth in Rural Areas“. Agro Television covered the Workshop and the Round Table.
