Webinar “From Concept to Prototype: AI-powered Platform advancing Circularity” within the CircularPSP Follower Network organized by the CircularPSP, in cooperation with ICLEI and ACR+

The main topic of the webinar was the presentation of an AI-powered platform prototype that supports local governments in transitioning toward circular economy models. The event offered insights into the CircularPSP project, highlighting both the common challenges faced by cities and the innovative solutions developed by technology providers such as CircularAI and VCG.AI.

Key segments of the webinar included:

 Presentation of the CircularPSP project and the Common Challenge – issues cities encounter in implementing circular practices.
 ACR+ network’s work with local governments – building capacity, creating policy tools, and integrating circular principles in public procurement.
 Supplier presentations – VCG.AI and CircularAI showcased their AI-driven platforms designed to help city officers create circular missions, indicators, and workflows.
 Introduction of the CE Taxonomy Working Group – a collaborative effort to harmonise circular economy terminology and datasets for effective AI use.
 CircularPSP roadmap – phases of testing, onboarding users, and a call for new “Follower” organisations to join the network.

The event showcased the importance of cooperation among cities, tech developers, and researchers to create scalable digital solutions for circular transitions.

The webinar was attended by project team members Asst.Prof. Aleksandra Jerkov and Assistant Bojana Matković , with the aim of exploring innovative approaches to digitalising public policy in the field of circular economy and potential involvement in the CE Taxonomy Working Group.
